VLPlay is a video player for files already on your device. It is operated by Van Lang Technologies Company Limited, Long Bien, Hanoi, Vietnam ("we"). Contact: [email protected].

1. We collect nothing

The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not send your videos, file names, viewing history or any other information to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives data from the app.

2. Access on your device

• Videos / Photos library. If you allow it, the app reads the list of videos in your library so you can browse and play them. Only videos are requested. The videos never leave your device.
• Files you open. When you pick a file with the system file picker, the app plays it. On iOS, a picked file is copied into the app's own Documents folder so it can be played again; you can delete it in the app (long-press) or in the Files app.
• Watch history. To resume videos and show “Continue watching”, the app keeps playback positions, your display preferences and your playlists in a small database on your device. It never leaves the device, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
• Network streams. If you enter a stream address (HTTP, HLS, RTSP, RTMP), the app connects directly to that server to play it. Like any web request, that server sees your IP address; we do not receive anything.
• Local network (iOS). The video engine (libVLC) declares local-network access. The app does not use it to send any data.

You can withdraw any of these permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. Sharing, retention and deletion

Because we collect no data, there is nothing to share, retain or delete on our side. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device.

4. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.

VLPlay là ứng dụng phát video có sẵn trên thiết bị của bạn, do Công ty TNHH Van Lang Technologies (Long Biên, Hà Nội) vận hành. Liên hệ: [email protected].

1. Chúng tôi không thu thập dữ liệu

Ứng dụng không có tài khoản, không có phân tích, không có quảng cáo và không theo dõi. Ứng dụng không gửi video, tên tệp, lịch sử xem hay bất kỳ thông tin nào cho chúng tôi hoặc bên thứ ba.

2. Quyền truy cập trên thiết bị

• Thư viện video / Ảnh. Nếu bạn cho phép, ứng dụng đọc danh sách video để bạn duyệt và phát. Video không rời khỏi thiết bị.
• Tệp bạn mở. Ứng dụng phát tệp bạn chọn. Trên iOS, tệp được sao chép vào thư mục Documents của ứng dụng; bạn có thể xoá trong ứng dụng (nhấn giữ) hoặc trong ứng dụng Tệp.
• Lịch sử xem. Để xem tiếp video và hiển thị mục “Xem tiếp”, ứng dụng lưu vị trí đang xem, tùy chọn hiển thị và danh sách phát trong một cơ sở dữ liệu nhỏ trên thiết bị. Dữ liệu này không bao giờ rời khỏi thiết bị và bị xóa khi gỡ ứng dụng.
• Luồng mạng. Nếu bạn nhập địa chỉ luồng (HTTP, HLS, RTSP, RTMP), ứng dụng kết nối trực tiếp tới máy chủ đó để phát. Như mọi yêu cầu web, máy chủ đó thấy địa chỉ IP của bạn; chúng tôi không nhận bất kỳ dữ liệu nào.
• Mạng cục bộ (iOS). Thư viện phát video (libVLC) khai báo quyền mạng cục bộ. Ứng dụng không dùng quyền này để gửi dữ liệu.

3. Chia sẻ, lưu trữ và xoá

Vì không thu thập dữ liệu nên chúng tôi không có gì để chia sẻ, lưu trữ hay xoá. Gỡ ứng dụng sẽ xoá mọi thứ ứng dụng đã lưu trên thiết bị.
